Trust and guidance
About PAIRO
PAIRO is a tuition company for Primary 3–6 and Secondary 1–4 families in Singapore. We help parents understand what their child needs, introduce a tutor whose teaching approach fits that need, and keep the learning arrangement clear from the beginning. PAIRO was founded by Ella Moh.
Why PAIRO exists
Finding tuition should be more considered than choosing from a ranking or a long list. The learner’s subject, present difficulty, pace, and preferred way of understanding all belong in the matching conversation.
PAIRO exists to make that conversation clearer, so a family can understand what is being proposed and why before deciding whether to proceed.
Meet Ella, founder of PAIRO
Raised and educated in Singapore, Ella is fluent in English and Chinese and studies Business at NUS. She participated in Basketball CCA and Hall and school sports, and she has part-time tuition experience.
Her passion for teaching is reflected in a practical approach informed by her bilingual learning, tuition, and sport experience: listen first, make reasoning visible, and turn uncertainty into a manageable next step that a learner can attempt and check.
Ella’s vision for PAIRO is to give families a considered explanation of teaching fit rather than only a list of available tutors. It is a human-guided approach to tuition where learners can ask questions, tutors adapt explanations, and parents understand the next learning step.
Human-guided matching
A person considers each request, listens before suggesting a tutor, and explains why an introduction may fit. The review includes the learning need, teaching approach, communication style, schedule, and availability.
An introduction does not guarantee placement or a particular academic result. When fit or availability is uncertain, families should receive a clear answer rather than an overstated promise.
What families can expect
The service is designed to keep the important parts of a one-to-one arrangement visible from the first conversation through each lesson update.
- A clear conversation before lessons begin.
- Teaching that makes reasoning visible and checks understanding.
- Useful parent updates about the lesson focus and next step.
Subjects and stages
PAIRO supports the following subjects and stages for individual matching review:
Matching depends on the learner’s needs, teaching fit, and tutor availability. Immediate placement, tutor availability, grade improvement, and a particular result are not promised.
- Primary 3–6: English, Chinese, and Mathematics.
- Secondary 1–4: English, Chinese / Higher Chinese, E-Mathematics, and A-Mathematics.
