Trust and guidance
Clear starting fees
The initial default rate is S$50/hour. It is an explanatory starting point, not a guaranteed quote. The accepted proposal records the actual rate for the agreed tutor and lesson arrangement.
The starting rate and actual quote
PAIRO uses S$50/hour to make the first conversation concrete. The accepted proposal records the actual rate, lesson duration, schedule, and resulting lesson fee before lessons begin.
If the accepted hourly rate differs from the starting rate, the accepted rate controls every proportional example and bill for that arrangement.
Lesson durations and examples
Lesson fees are calculated proportionally from the accepted hourly rate. At the S$50/hour starting rate, the examples are:
- 60 minutes at S$50/hour = S$50.
- 90 minutes at S$50/hour = S$75.
- 120 minutes at S$50/hour = S$100.
Post-paid per lesson
Under the intended post-paid per lesson choice, each completed lesson is billed after delivery at the fee recorded in the accepted proposal. Any approved schedule change should be reflected before payment is reconciled.
Pre-paid monthly
Under the intended pre-paid monthly choice, the month is calculated from the weekly schedule. This means a calendar may contain four- or five-lesson months, and the amount should show the actual lessons covered.
Pre-payment does not receive a default discount. Any different commercial arrangement would need to be stated explicitly in the accepted proposal.
How PayNow is checked
The intended process is to check PayNow proof against the actual bank transaction before recording a payment as received. A screenshot by itself is not treated as final confirmation.
Changes, credits and refunds
An approved rescheduling or cancellation can require an adjustment, credit, or refund, depending on the final policy and the lessons already delivered or scheduled.
These are operational intentions for review, not final payment terms. Families should read the relevant policy previews and rely on the accepted arrangement once approved.
