How PAIRO matching works
PAIRO is a human-guided matching service. Families describe the learning need, and we coordinate a considered introduction rather than asking them to browse or bid for tutors.
Begin with the learning need
The enquiry starts with context: whether the learner is in Primary 3–6 or Secondary 1–4, the subject, the current difficulty, preferred timing, and what useful support would look like.
Parents can share the learner’s recent work or school feedback when it helps explain the need, without sending unnecessary private information.
Human review before a suggestion
A person reviews the request, asks for clarification where needed, and considers subject and level fit, teaching approach, communication style, and practical availability.
This human review replaces public tutor browsing, ranking, or bidding. It does not guarantee that a suitable tutor will be available.
A clear proposal for the family
When there is a possible fit, the family receives a proposal explaining the tutor, lesson duration, weekly schedule, and actual rate. The reason for the suggested match should be understandable.
Lessons begin only after the parent accepts the proposal. Asking a question about it does not commit the family to proceed.
Weekly one-to-one lessons
The agreed arrangement is for live one-to-one online lessons that recur weekly. Each lesson can then respond to the learner’s own work, questions, pace, and understanding.
Available lesson durations are 60, 90, or 120 minutes, with the selected duration stated in the accepted proposal.
A useful record after each lesson
A parent update records the lesson focus, what the tutor observed, any homework or practice, and the next step. This gives the family a practical view of what happened without claiming a guaranteed result.
When a match is not immediately available
If there is no suitable match or a tutor is not immediately available, PAIRO should say so clearly rather than suggest a weak fit. Matching may remain open, but placement and timing are not guaranteed.
