Privacy

This review copy outlines intended privacy principles for the public-site prototype. It is not an approved privacy notice.

The current review-site boundary

The public review-site forms validate entries only in the browser. They do not send or store anything, so visitors should not enter identity documents, payment evidence, academic records, medical information or other sensitive material.

Information a future service may need

A future service may need parent contact details, learner information relevant to tuition, scheduling preferences, tutor verification records, billing details and payment evidence. The necessary fields and whether each one is optional or required still need approval.

Purpose and access

Before collection begins, each type of information needs an approved purpose and a clear account of who may access it. Access should be limited to the people and service providers who need the information for that approved purpose.

Retention, deletion and correction

Retention periods, deletion steps and a route for correcting inaccurate information are not yet approved. Those decisions, including what must be retained for an active arrangement or account record, need to be settled before the future service stores personal information.

Private documents and payment evidence

Identity and academic documents used for tutor checks, together with invoices and payment evidence, would need access-controlled storage rather than public links or public-site assets. Their upload, review and deletion controls must be approved before those features are enabled.

Contact before collection begins

An approved privacy contact route and clear response ownership are required before live collection begins. This review page does not invent a contact address or ask visitors to submit privacy requests through the prototype forms.
